FAQs

We’ve heard so much lately about Healing and different kinds of Energy work. Just what is Energy and how can it heal?

Webster’s Dictionary describes Energy as “a vigorous exertion of power”; okay, but how does it work? How Energy Works If we go to Quantum Physics, we find that the concept of Energy gets to be quite complicated. Einstein showed us that E=mc2 , Energy equals Mass times the speed of Light squared. This tells us that Mass and Energy are interchangeable. And that both space and time are not absolute. The most important consequence of this is that Mass is nothing but a form of Energy. So, everything is a form of Energy, objects at rest have stored Energy. Trees, Rocks, Dogs, Water and People are all made up of Energy, in one form or another.

Simply stated this means that everything (including our bodies) is composed of energy.

This is so widely accepted that not one scientist on the planet disagrees with it.

Until recently, however, it has gone unnoticed by the psychotherapy profession. This is true even though energy related procedures have now been clinically demonstrated thousands of times to dramatically reduce the sting of traumatic memories, grief, anger, phobias and almost any emotional ailment you can name (see www.emofree.com).

Further, it is usually rapid, long lasting and relatively gentle. It often works where nothing else will.

Where Does Energy Come From?

Energy is all around us, everywhere in all different wavelengths and frequencies. From Energies with very short wavelengths like Cosmic Radiation and X-rays to very long wave lengths such as Radio waves and Infra Red waves. Everyday our bodies are being hit with these Energies from many different sources. We don’t see it but we know it is there. When we speak, our voice saying words has released sound waves of Energy causing ripples in the air around us. When we think, our brains release wavelengths of Energy.

Can Energy Be Measured?

To the Scientific community, Energy is something measurable with specific instruments to detect for example, heat, light, or cosmic radiation. The Energy used in Healing is equally real, with the measuring device being that exquisitely sensitive one, the human body. Our bodies are receiving stations for Energy and also transmitters of Energy. About Our Multi-Body System We are made up of a multi-body system, not just the physical body. We have an Etheric Body, an Emotional Body, a Mental Body and an Astral Body.

Things don’t just affect us physically; we are affected on all levels. When we think thoughts, these non-solid forms of Energy go out into our multi system body and greatly affect us.

Healing Balances Energy We all have storage centers in our bodies that store Energy and Energy patterns. They are called Chakras.

We can have Energy Patterns stored from events that happened yesterday as well as from many years ago.

Some of these patterns will be happy memories and some of them will be unpleasant and painful memories of something that happened to us. Sometimes we stash them away deep into some recess in our Chakras and in our Auras (the Energy field around us), and try to forget about them, but they don’t really go away.

Dis-ease is a manifestation of unbalanced Energy.

Healing, then is a way of balancing Energy. Negative Forms of Energy Throughout our lives we pick up negative forms of Energy, such as Fear, Doubt, Anger, Judgment, Criticism, Blame and others.

Any techniques we find that enable us to let go of these patterns will help to move us toward peace and happiness.

There are many ways to balance your Energy. One approach is
A: to become the most complete and loving being you can be. The loving Energy will naturally dissolve the parts of you that are keeping you unbalanced. Another way of balancing your Energy is through
B:
    1.  Recognition—recognizing the problem.
    2.  Surrender and Release—putting trust in the highest power, letting go of trying to control how your life will manifest. It is releasing how we think things should be, and knowing that he Divine Source will take control.

If you combine both paths of A: Love and B: the path of Release, you will have the fastest way possible to a balanced, healed state of being.

When a trained energy worker works with you to help balance your Energy, for many, the process of Healing is accelerated.

WHAT IS GRAPHOLOGY?
Graphology is a highly accurate method of evaluating handwriting features to determine character, personality, disposition and aptitudes.

HOW IS HANDWRITING ANALYSIS USED?
As an accurate Behavioral Profiling tool, handwriting analysis is highly useful in any situation involving people.
  • Business and Industry: Personnel selection, employee promotion and review, counseling and motivation of staff. Time and money are saved by choosing the right person with the right skills and personality for the job.
  • Document Examination: Signature verification, anonymous letter evaluation, detection of forged or altered documents.
  • Law: An effective method for attorneys in screening prospective jurors and understanding clients, jury members, key witnesses, opposing counsel and judges.
  • Criminology: Determination of dishonesty and potentially dangerous behavior.
  • Psychology and Counseling: Detection and understanding of emotional problems, fears, inhibitions and general social traits.
  • Education: Analysis of children's thinking styles, aptitudes, potential, and mental or emotional problems. The value of graphology to instructors and teachers far surpasses any other projective test.
  • Relationships: Compatibility for marriage, social, or business arrangements, understanding significant others, family members, co-workers and friends from the inside out.
  • Self-Understanding: Graphology can give a very accurate and objective look at who you are--your strengths, weaknesses, and special skills.

WHAT DOES GRAPHOLOGY REVEAL?
Thought patterns, social traits, emotional makeup, integrity, goal orientation, fears, defense mechanisms, aptitudes, and a host of other personality traits. It is an accurate reflection of character to those trained to understand it.

HOW DOES HANDWRITING REFLECT PERSONALITY?
The act of writing is a complex series of actions involving the writer's nervous system, physical state, emotions, and disposition. When we pick up a pen or pencil to write, the brain sends messages to the hand and arm muscles, directing the marks left on paper. The lines, curves, loops, and dots that result are all graphic indications of the inner self, a record of the psychomotor impulses of the writer. Although the writing instrument is held in the hand (or sometimes in the mouth, foot, the crook of the arm, etc.) it is the brain which impels us to write. Handwriting is brainwriting. Like facial expressions, bodily movements and other individualized mannerisms, handwriting reflects the thoughts, feelings and habits present at the moment the writer places pen to paper.

BUT MY WRITING CHANGES FROM ONE DAY TO THE NEXT...
Your writing changes from day to day because you are a living being with variable thoughts, moods, and physical states and because writing is highly sensitive to these variables. A letter to your mother might be in a different style than a shopping list, for example. The basic features of your writing are not likely to change much from one day to the next, but the analysis will be more accurate if you provide writing samples from different situations. The more writing you provide, the more of your true nature will show through.

HOW DO I GET A HANDWRITING ANALYSIS?
Mail your writing sample (at least one page, with signature) to Reed Hayes at the address below, enclosing a check or money order for $75. For faster turnaround, fax the writing to 808-356-0811. Contact us for information regarding making your payment via PayPal.

Common questions about Hypnosis

What does hypnosis feel like?
It will be a very relaxing day dream like state. A person is not asleep but is very much aware of their surroundings. It is thought that the senses are heightened which allows for the suggestions to be readily incorporated.

Can I be made to do something that I don't want to do?
NO!!! A person cannot be made to do something that is against their moral code or principles. A session with a qualified hypnotist is specific and goal driven. Anything else suggested would not be accepted or the person would just come out of the hypnotic state on their own.

Does hypnosis always work?
All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. This places the success of the hypnosis on the client. The skills that help a person enter the hypnotic state and the crafting of the suggestions are why you need a qualified hypnotist. Each person's needs are different, some may find success the first time, others may require more than one session. Some habits that people are trying to eliminate lend themselves to only one session, other habits may require multiple sessions.

What happens if a person doesn't wake up?
In the research I have done, I have not yet found any documentation of a person never waking up. Some people have found the hypnotic state so relaxing they naturally fall asleep. After a short nap they awaken on their own.

Can everyone be hypnotized?
The answer is yes, unless the person suffers from a mental deficit such as mental retardation. Some other mental health problems may cause a person to be less than ideal and not suited for treatment other than with a mental health professional.
History of Hypnosis
Hypnosis has a long and colorful history. It is thought that the practice of hypnosis goes back to ancient times and was utilized by tribal medicine men, wizards and temple priests.

The first recorded treatise on hypnosis (mesmerism) was published by Friedrick Mesmer (1734-1815) in 1776. The term hypnosis came later and was coined by Dr. James Braid (1795-1860) from a Greek word hypnos, meaning sleep. Braid was the first to theorize that the hypnotic state was due to the will of the subject, not the operator.
Hynosis was studied extensively during the birth of modern psychoanalysis in the late 1800's and early 1900's. It is though that if Freud had endorsed the concept of hyspnosis, it would not have fallen tot he depths of stage entertainment and mystery.

The modern father of hypnosis was Milton Erikson. Many of his techniques and methods are still being utilized today.

Hypnosis has found a home within the alternative health movement but also remains as a tool for many mental health professionals.
